Inner Peace – Shaped Reflective Poem

I
In past
Hid my cry
Of depressed cast
Self-abuse blurred mind
Substance misuse sins spree
Deep cutting acquainting hind
Corrupt vague version becoming me
Through acceptance I found inner peace
Kindred unburdens my self-hate
Compassionate floods of love
Kindness key to mental gate
Mind now like free dove
Everyday I’m live
No more strife
I thrive
Life
